Paph. delenatii (Paph. delenatii ‘1/2 album’ x Paph. delenatii var. album ‘SVO White Knight’ HCC/AOS)

Lots of album genes here…. But expect most to be light pink flowers of good size and shape.

Paph. venustum (Paph. venustum ‘Sunset Valley Orchids’ AM/AOS x self)

This is an excellent cultivar with fantastic color. This is a cross of (‘Fox Catcher’ FCC/AOS x ‘Album Beauty‘) so it had ½ album genes. The selfing is producing as expected 25% albums, 25% dark, and 50% in between the two. Excellent vigor.

‘DD’s Nova’ really grows well and is free blooming and ‘DD’s Star’ has marvelous shape. These plants are growing beautifully and it’s a nice cross between two select cultivars.

The cultivar ‘Fogarty' has been in cultivation for many years and is a reliable grower and bloomer with nice color form and size. These plants are showing rapid growth and a vigorous habit. A great opportunity to get a not so common Paph species

The sepals are a waxy white, finely veined green, the petals are bright green transitioning to a deep mauve on the tips, and the pouch is a deep rose. This is a wonderful species not often seen for sale.

Lebeau is a famous plant with many high awards in Japan and Taiwan however it is rarely seen for sale in the USA. These are very limited and highly desirable.

‘DD's Queen' is (‘Mt. Milais' x ‘Nan Chou') receiving an 88 pt AM with 5 flowers and dark red pouches. The armeniacum is a strong reliable grower and bloomer with superb flower quality. These will have big and bold yellow flowers with burgundy markings on the dorsal and petals.

The haynaldianum ‘SVO 7' blooms reliably with 7 flowers and has proven its self a good breeder. II has sired crosses of Paph. Lebaudyanum (2 awards), Paph. Houghtoniae (2 awards) and Paph. Bengal Lancers (2 awards). Crossing it to Paph. lowii ‘SVO' with its 6 flowers per stem and exceptionally wide petals will make for superior Toni Semple's. These are very vigorous growing plants, a must for every collection.

‘Raja Kumis' carries 5 flowers and was the first of the FCC coming from the Orchid Zone grex of (‘Mt. Millais’ x ‘Rex’). The Virgo has very wide dorsal and petals with ‘big shoulders’. Outstanding breeding, flowers will be white with bold mahogany markings, not to be missed. Very limited

Mount Toro is (philippinense x stonei) the cultivar ‘SVO' carries 5 flowers per inflorescence and is a strong reliable grower and bloomer, the addition of rothschildianum will increase the overall size and assure 5 flowers per stem.

Paph. Harold Koopowitz (Paph. rothschildianum ‘DD’s Queen’ AM/AOS x Paph. malipoense ‘DD’s Majesty’)

The ‘DD's Queen' received an 88 point AM carrying 5 magnificent flowers with dark red pouches; the malipoense has petals approaching 2” wide. These are strong vigorously growers. This is a very nice hybrid and a must for every collection. Recommended

Paph. Lady Isabel (Paph. stonei ‘Cindy Hill’ x Paph. rothschildianum ‘Raja Kumis’ FCC/AOS)

Lady Isabel is one of the most popular primary multifloral hybrids. Both of the parents used in this cross carry 5 flowers and are of excellent quality. This is a grex that should be in every ones collection

Paph. St. Swithin (Paph. rothschildianum ‘DD’s Queen’ AM/AOS x Paph. philippinense var, roebelenii ‘DD’s Damsel’)

The rothschildianum is from (‘Mt. Millais' x ‘Nan Chou') receiving an 88 pt AM with 5 flowers on a stem and dark red pouches. The philippinense is of the roebelinii variety carrying 9 flowers and 11” long petals! These vigorous plants will produce Saint Swithin's carrying 5-7 flowers. A must for every collection.

(Paph. Fanaticum ‘DD’s Prima Donna’ HCC/AOS x Paph. bellatulum ‘SVO #1’)

This grex is not yet registered. This combination will allow for flowers with full rounded shapes and dark blotching. The improved stems will hold the flowers above the leaves. This new combination has good potential.

Fanaticum (malipoense x micranthum) ‘Prima Donna’ flowers are pink with dark reticulations on the petals a full pink pouch. The Virgo (godefroyae x Psyche) has wide petals with big ‘shoulders’. These look to be very full shaped flowers on good stems. Very limited

Maudiae hybrids are easy to grow and flower. They make excellent indoor growers and grow quickly into specimens. The parents of the Paph. Makuli are (Paph. Maudiae ‘Los Osos’ AM/AOS x Paph. sukhakulii ‘Sorrento’ AM/AOS). The best of the cross is ‘SVO #1’ and it is just superb. Macabre (sukhakulii x Voodoo Magic) has produced many fine flowers and awards. These two exceptional cultivars will produce vigorous plants with boldly colored flowers with heavily spotted petals on good stems.
