This is a micro mini-cat hybrid. Plants are already blooming size and will mature in a 3” pot and stay under 3” tall. Colors range from coral pink to reds with the flowers natural spread from 2” to 2.5”. These are blooming twice a year and will form multi growth clumps over time. Perfect for growing indoors or under lights. The first to flowers have been beyond our expectations. This is a really nice micro-mini cross, super small plants and relatively big flowers.

Princess Clementine is a primary hybrid between (C. aclandiae x C. dowiana) it is a surprisingly large flower carried 5 per stem. We have combined it with a compact growing yellow spotted hybrid Katherine Clarkson (C. Mark Jones x Slc. Jungle Gem). It is expected that the C. dowiana in the background of this cross will improve the flower size the C. aclandiae will add spots and as both parents are yellow; these will be compact growers with larger yellow flowers and red spots. This is the first step in using C. dowiana in breeding for yellow flowers and red spots. Also there should some flowers that are nicely fragrant. This is one of those ‘very interesting’ hybrids. They could be great. |

These came from Allan Eggins of Rosella Orchids in Australia. The purpurata ‘do Crenta’ is a white flower with dark purple lip, the v. carnea has a white flower with pink lip. These have been showing excellent vigor and growing really well. |
