Paph. sangii
(Paph. sangii ‘Tustin' HCC/AOS x Paph. sangii ‘Fred's' HCC/AOS)

This is the first offering using 2 awarded parents! The species is named for its dark blood red petals. This is a hard to find species and very desirable.

Paph. rothschildianum
(Paph. rothschildianum ‘DD's Queen' AM/AOS x Paph. rothschildianum ‘DD's King')

‘DD's Queen' is (‘Mt. Milais' x ‘Nan Chou') ‘Nan Chou‘ is of excellent quality and a jungle collected plant. The ‘DD's King' is (‘Rex x ‘Mt. Millais') originating from the Orchid Zone. These two superb parents posses a diverse gene pool which will allow for excellent flower quality and strong vigorous plant growth.

Paph. venustum v. album
(Paph. venustum v. album ‘SVO' x Paph. venustum v. album ‘SVO II')

Two select venustum's with yellow flowers with green markings. These are easy to grow and will be quick to mature. A striking colors form.

Paph. fairieanum
(Paph. fairieanum ‘DD's' x Paph. fairieanum ‘Diamond Bar' HCC/AOS)

Two superb cultivars, both were selected from 100's in flower at the Orchid Zone. A great paring of two large and deeply colored flowers.

Paph. delenatii
(Paph. delenatii ‘SVO' AM/AOS x Paph. delenatii ‘SVOII' HCC/AOS)

Both of these are great delenatii's one with good size and the other exceptional form. This pairing is the next generation of improvement in this species.

Paph. lowii
(Paph. lowii ‘SVO' AM/AOS x self)

This lowii carries 6 flowers on the inflorescence and it has very wide petals at 3.4 cm, that's over a 1¼“ wide! some of the widest petals seen on a Paph. lowii.

Paph. stonei
(Paph. stonei ‘Cindy Hill' x Paph. stonei ‘Fogarty's)

Paph. stonei is one of my favorite species. ‘Cindy Hill' carries 5 flowers of excellent size, color and form . The ‘Fogarty' cultivar is a reliable, oldie but goodie with nice color and size. These are showing strong growth and vigorous habit. Very nice.

Paph. hennisianum
(Paph. hennisianum ‘DD ½ alba' x Paph. hennisianum ‘½ alba select')

With ½ alba parents roughly half of the plants should bloom alba. The alba's are rare and will be quite valuable. Both plants were selected from the Orchid Zone.

Paph. dayanum
(Paph. dayanum ‘Macho' HCC/AOS x Paph. dayanum ‘Mauve Wings')

The sepals are a waxy white, finely veined green, the petals are bright green transitioning to a deep mauve on the tips, and the pouch is a deep rose. This is a wonderful species not often seen for sale.

Paph. malipoense
(Paph. malipoense ‘DD's Star' x Paph. malipoense ‘DD's Orion')

Two select forms sib mated, these are growing nicely.

Paph. lowii
(Paph. lowii ‘New Horizon' x Paph. lowii ‘Mem. Agnes Helberg' AM/AOS)

‘New Horizon' is from the highly awarded Krull-Smith strain and ‘Mem. Agnes Helberg' measures in at 17.5 cm wide, just short of 7” in spread.

Paph. rothschildianum
(Paph. rothschildianum ‘Raja Kumis' FCC/AOS x Paph. rothschildianum ‘DD's Queen' AM/AOS)

The ‘Raja Kumis' is (‘Rex' x ‘Mt. Milais') originating from the Orchid Zone caring 5 flowers and was the first to received an FCC/AOS for the cross. ‘DD's Queen' is (‘Mt. Milais' x ‘Nan Chou') ‘Nan Chou‘ is of excellent quality and a jungle collected plant. ‘Mt. Milais' is still considered on of the best rothschildianum and has an FCC/AOS. These two parents will allow for excellent flower quality and strong vigorous plant growth.

Two more select forms combined; here one is from the Orchid Zone and the other Andy's Orchids.

What a desirable species, 36” + long petals are just amazing. These have been showing good growth and vigor. Limited availability

Paph. Lebeau
(Paph. Transvaal ‘Merienda Lane' HCC/AOS x Paph. rothschildianum ‘Raja Kumis' FCC/AOS)

Lebeau is a very desirably and an outstanding grex. In Taiwan it has taken many awards. Inflorescences carry 4-5 flowers with large striped dorsals and spotted petals. This grex is rarely (if ever) been for sale in the United States. Very limited….don't miss out on these.

 

Paph. Harold Koopowitz
(Paph. rothschildianum ‘DD's Queen' AM/AOS x Paph. malipoense ‘DD's Majesty)

The ‘DD's Queen' received an 88 point AM caring 5 magnificent flowers with dark red pouches; the malipoense has petals approaching 2” wide! These are growing vigorously, very nice, a must for every collection. Recommended

Paph. Saint Swithin
(Paph. rothschildianum ‘DD's Queen' AM/AOS x Paph. philippinense ‘DD's Damsel)

The rothschildianum is from (‘Mt. Millais' x ‘Nan Chou') receiving an 88 pt AM with 5 flowers on a stem and dark red pouches. The philippense is of the robelinii variety caring 9 flowers and 11” long petals! These vigorous plants will produce Saint Swithin's caring 5-7 flowers. A must for every collection.

 

Paph. Mem. Larry Heuer
(Paph. malipoense ‘DD's Hornet' x Paph. emersonii ‘DD's Angel)

Mem. Larry Heuer can have a natural spread over 5”! The flowers are chartreuse, the centers of petals are tessellated burgundy and the staminode is dark burgundy. Rarely available for sale…

Paph. Dolgoldii
(Paph. rothschildianum ‘DD's Queen' AM/AOS x Paph. armeniacum ‘Ann')

‘DD's Queen' is (‘Mt. Milais' x ‘Nan Chou') receiving an 88 pt AM with 5 flowers and dark red pouches. The armeniacum is a strong reliable grower and bloomer with superb flower quality. These will have big and bold, imposing yellow flowers with burgundy markings on the dorsal and petals. Magnificent.

(Paph. Susan Booth ‘SVO' HCC/AOS x Paph. rothschildianum ‘Raja Kumis' FCC/AOS)

The Susan Booth has excellent dark flower color and beautiful arrangement. The ‘Raja Kumis' is (‘Rex' x ‘Mt. Milais') originating from the Orchid Zone and was the first to received an FCC. The expectation is for 4-5 flowers of exceptional dark color.

This Susan Booth carries up to 6 flowers per stem, the most for any awarded Susan Booth it also has a wide 2” dorsal to boot! ‘DD's Queen' is outstanding with its 5 flowers and dark red pouches. The expectation is for 5-6 flowers of exceptional size and arrangement.

 

Paph. Genevieve Booth
(Paph. Mount Toro ‘SVO' HCC/AOS x Paph. rothschildianum ‘Raja Kumis' FCC/AOS)

Mount Toro is (philippinense x stonei); the cultivar ‘SVO' carries 5 flowers per inflorescence and is a strong reliable grower and bloomer, the addition of rothschildianum will increase the overall size and assure 5 flowers per stem. These will be intermediate between Lady Isabel and St. Swithin, lots of potential here.

(Paph. Susan Booth ‘SVO' HCC/AOS x Paph. Lady Isabel ‘DD's Orion')

The Susan Booth has excellent dark flower color and beautiful arrangement. The Lady Isabel (rothschildianum x stonei) is a superb cross and parent. These will carry 4-5 flowers with broad, bold mahogany striped dorsals. Good vigorously growing plants.

(Paph. rothschildianum ‘DD's Pride' x Paph. adductum ‘Dark Star'

The rothschildianum is from the (‘Rex' x ‘Mt. Milais') strain and the adductum has a very dark dorsal.

 

(Paph. Shin-Yi's Pride ‘SVO' AM/AOS x Paph. Lady Isabel ‘DD's Orion)

Shin-Yi's Pride (Michael Koopowitz x rothschildianum) the ‘SVO' cultivar has a 5.2 cm dorsal and nearly 2 cm wide petals, a very large flower with a commanding presence. The Lady Isabel (rothschildianum x stonei) will lend its well known characteristics for flat, boldly striped dorsal sepal and deep red pouch. This grex is a highly advanced and a promising cross in multi floral breeding.

 

Paph. Lady Isabel

Lady Isabel is one of the most popular primary multifloral hybrids. Both parents carry 5 flowers and are of excellent quality. This grex should be in every ones collection.

 

Paph. Toni Semple
(Paph. haynaldianum ‘SVO 7' x Paph. lowii ‘SVO' AM/AOS)

The haynaldianum ‘SVO 7' blooms reliably with 7 flowers and has proven its self a good breeder. II has sired crosses of Paph. Lebaudyanum (2 awards), Paph. Houghtoniae (2 awards) and Paph. Bengal Lancers (2 awards). Crossing it to Paph. lowii ‘SVO' with its 6 flowers per stem and exceptionally wide petals will make for superior Toni Semple's. Easy, vigorous growing plants, a must for every collection.

(Paph. Lady Isabel ‘Crystelle' HCC/AOS x Paph. Booth's Stone-Lady ‘Crystelle' AM/AOS)

Lady Isabel (rothschildianum x stonei) will lend its well known characteristics of the flat, boldly striped dorsal sepal and deep red pouch. The Booth's Stone-Lady is (Lady Isabel x stonei). That makes this grex 2 parts rothschildianum and 3 parts stonei. Will these be like super Lady Isabel's…..

 

Paph. Recovery
(Paph. sukhakulii v. album ‘DD's Envy' x Paph. philippinense v. album ‘SVO')

Some of these will bloom album with pure white and green flowers, very desirable. Expect stems to carry 2 – 3 flowers reminiscent of Paph. Iantha Stage where the sukhakulii dominates the petal shape and width. The ones to bloom album will be very collectable.

Paph. Ho Chi Minh

Beautiful plants, large light pink flowers with dark rose pouches and lots of green in the staminode. These are from Antec labs, a legal source

(Paph. stonei ‘Krull-Smith' x Paph. Mount Toro ‘Crystelle' HCC/AOS)

Mount Toro (stonei x philippinense) crossed back to a great stonei. These will have considerable influence of the stonei with bold dorsal sepals, and great color.

 

Paph. Makuli
(Paph. Maudiae ‘Los Osos' AM/AOS x Paph. sukhakulii ‘Sorrento' AM/AOS)

Maudiae hybrids are easy to grow and flower, with mature plants blooming twice a year. Here we have used two exceptional cultivars as parents. The well known and proven ‘Los Osos' and ‘Sorrento' which received and 89 pt AM/AOS.

 

(Paph. Magic Cherry ‘SVO' x Paph. sukhakulii ‘Wide Wings')

Magic Cherry (Black Cherry x Voodoo Magic) has a large dorsal and superb coloration; the sukhakulii has petals nearly 3 cm wide. The expectation is for improved dorsal, petal width, and coloration.

 

(Paph. Maudiae ‘Los Osos' AM/AOS x Paph. Macabre ‘SVO' HCC/AOS)

Maudiae hybrids are easy to grow and flower. Macabre (sukhakulii x Voodoo Magic) has produced many fine flowers and awards. Here we have used two exceptional cultivars as parents, expect easy growth and blooming.

Paph. Dragon Knife
(Paph. Makuli ‘I Can't Believe It' x Paph. sukhakulii ‘Sorrento' AM/AOS)

‘I Can't Believe It' was the exclamation Harold Koopowitz made upon seeing this huge Dragon Knife. The sukhakulii is spectacular with its 3 cm petals, receiving an 89 pt AM/AOS.
